OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a holistic body therapy in which the therapist uses his hands to diagnose and treat patients. This holistic treatment method is used to restore the patient’s mobility and freedom from pain. Our body has extraordinary self-healing powers which can be activated with the help of osteopathic treatment. On the basis of a differentiated diagnosis, the locomotor system, the craniosacral system or the visceral area are treated to release blockages and correct malfunctions.

Methods of osteopathy

Structural

Osteopathy

The work on the musculoskeletal system or the bony skeleton, i.e. the spine, the pelvis and the respective extremities. Problems with bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons and fasciae are treated.

Visceral

Osteopathy

The work on the internal organs (Latin: viscera) of the human being. Through gentle manual treatment, the internal organs and their surrounding structures are examined and treated for movement restrictions.

Cranial

Osteopathy

Working with the subtle rhythms of the cerebral fluid and the cranial bones. Cranial osteopathy aims to stimulate the free flow of cerebrospinal fluid along the spinal column down to the sacrum and in the skull – altogether in the so-called craniosacral system – or to restore it in case of disorders
